Frequently Asked Questions

How long until I see results?
Everyone regrows their hair at a different pace. We are very aggressive in our treatment plan and you are with us for an entire year! We would expect you to see your growth results by around the 3-month mark. Some patients see results sooner and other’s closer to the 6 month range, we won’t know how quickly you grow your hair back until we start but we make sure to give you the best possible chance for fast and effective results.
What is your success rate?
If you are totally compliant with our recommended action plan to restore your hair, most patients are 100% pleased with their results. The reason we are so successful is our multifaceted approach, so it’s very important to remain compliant with our regiment.
What amount of regrowth do you expect?
We believe in setting realistic expectations for our clients. While results may vary depending on individual factors, we have witnessed significant regrowth for many of our clients. To provide you with a better understanding of what we can achieve with our protocols, we would be delighted to share some before and after pictures. Remember that each person’s journey is unique, and we’ll work closely with you to achieve the best possible outcome based on your specific needs and circumstances. What are the risks?
Risks are very minimal with our procedure when compared to other more invasive alternatives. Of course any time we puncture skin we risk the risk of bleeding and infection. The scalp has a large blood supply and the cells are anti-bacterial in nature so the risk is very minimal.
Does it hurt?
We use a topical numbing cream to numb your scalp. Our patients do well when using this cream and most say they just feel slight pinches.
Are there any restrictions with this procedure?
There is no downtime or huge restrictions after treatment. We just ask you don’t rush home and wash your hair; we’d like the PRP to marinate and sit on your scalp for about 4 hours, some people will even sleep in it and rinse it out in the morning. Your first wash will be without any topical shampoo or conditioner. The only other restrictions are no submerging into pools for 24 hours, avoid NSAID drugs, and excessive sweating that day. We can make sure we schedule that procedure for you so it makes sense for your daily schedule and try not to inconvenience you too much.
Will I need maintenance? Does everyone need maintenance?
Most likely you will want to keep up with your results. A lot of our patients are thrilled after their year is up and want to continue so they can see continued success. Hair loss and your pattern of balding typically shows progression as time continues. We have a few different maintenance programs that vary in price and are still extremely affordable and I’m happy to go over those with you!
