Alternative Treatments to Surgery for Chronic Pain and Sports Injuries

QC Kinetix is dedicated to helping patients recover from injuries and avoid surgery by offering regenerative orthopedic treatments that can help heal bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons.

We treat joint pain related to arthritis, sports injuries, and age-related wear. Patients throughout North Colorado Springs and the surrounding area turn to our pain management clinic for faster recovery and a return to the activities they love.

Regenerative medicine focuses on the body’s natural ability to heal itself. With PRP and cellular therapy, we help patients recover through minimally invasive procedures, avoiding the scarring, risks, and extended downtime that come with surgery.

North Colorado Springs sits at the doorstep of some of Colorado’s best skiing, hiking, and trail running. Knee and back injuries from these activities are among the most common conditions we treat, and many patients come to us specifically looking for a non-surgical alternative before committing to an operation.

FAQs About Our Clinic

Does your local pain clinic have age restrictions?

Yes, age restrictions are clinic dependent. Most clinics require you to be 18 years old to be a QC Kinetix Patient. As long as you meet the local clinic age requirement and our minimum health requirements, you can be considered as a candidate for regenerative medicine treatment.

Is there any reason I may not be a candidate for regenerative pain treatment?

Regenerative pain medicine is not appropriate for every cause of pain. Further, there are some conditions in which treatment is contraindicated. These are:

  • Women who are pregnant or nursing
  • Anyone with a compromised immune system
  • Anyone with active cancer
  • Anyone currently going through a chemotherapy or radiation therapy regimen
  • If your pain comes from a total joint replacement
  • If you have kidney failure and require dialysis

If you are unsure whether you would be an ideal candidate for treatment at our clinic, contact us today.

What if I have been treated elsewhere before?

If you have been treated for pain before visiting QC Kinetix, please bring any diagnostic study films or reports to your free consultation so we can review them and avoid repeating any tests unnecessarily. In addition, we always welcome the opportunity to provide a second opinion on a case or help you understand whether you are eligible for any of our alternative therapies for pain.

Does QC Kinetix provide non-surgical treatments for other issues?

We currently offer regenerative medicine treatment to patients who suffer from pain, discomfort, or lack of mobility. Schedule your free consultation today to see how we can jump-start your healing process.

What is the expected expense for my regenerative medicine treatment?

At QC Kinetix, we provide various regenerative medicine treatments for a wide range of conditions. We will need to examine you to learn about your issues before determining which therapies and how many treatments you need. At your free consultation, we will provide you with the exact price for the treatments we recommend. We also offer affordable payment plans with approved credit.

What is PRP treatment and how does it help with knee and back pain?

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy uses growth factors concentrated from your own blood and injected into the affected area. It’s commonly used for knee pain treatment, back pain, tendon injuries, and arthritis – promoting natural tissue repair without surgery or significant downtime.

Cellular therapy uses regenerative cells, sourced from your own body, to support healing in damaged joints and soft tissue. It’s a common option for knee pain, degenerative disc conditions, and joint injuries where cartilage or tissue has broken down.

How is this different from traditional pain management?

Traditional pain management often involves steroid injections, long-term medication, or surgery. Our approach targets the source of pain using your body’s own biology with minimal downtime and no general anesthesia. For active patients in North Colorado Springs, that often means returning to skiing, hiking, or daily activity far sooner than a surgical recovery would allow.

Is QC Kinetix an alternative to knee or back surgery?

For many patients, yes. Our team evaluates each case individually to determine which regenerative treatment can restore function and reduce or eliminate the need for surgery. Individual results may vary.
