Dr. Garzone is board certified in Internal Medicine and graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed internship and residency through Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Prior to medical school, Dr. Garzone completed a biology degree at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC. Dr. Garzone’s experience includes: general internal medicine, critical care medicine, hospitalist medicine, geriatrics, opioid addiction treatment, chronic pain management, hospice and palliative care. His practice settings include: inpatient, outpatient, long-term care and post-acute care. He has held several medical directorship roles and has received a Physician of Excellence Award. He is a member of the ASRM, AOA, AMA, ACP, ACOI, SCMA, AAPL, SHM, ACHE and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Internists and Society of Hospital Medicine. He is certified in hair restoration and has performed hundreds of bone marrow aspirations and joint injections. He has supervised many Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants throughout his career. He enjoys being a regenerative medicine instructor and teaches the bone marrow aspiration procedure and joint injections to other medical providers.
Alexandra is a board-certified Physician Assistant that moved to Charleston from New York. Alexandra originally received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dance and Exercise Science. She has always had a passion and interest in how movement and exercise affect the human body. Before attending PA school at Albany Medical College, Alexandra worked at an Orthopedic practice in California where she first learned about PRP injections. She was able to witness the positive effects of minimally invasive techniques to help create a better quality of life for patients. When moving to Charleston and discovering QC Kinetix, she instantly knew that she wanted to work in Regenerative Medicine. She is highly impressed with the medical advancements that QC Kinetix has made with their regenerative therapies and is looking forward to bringing quality of life back to her patients. When Alexandra is not working, she is enjoying her time at the beach and throughout downtown with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. She loves to take advantage of the nice weather almost year-round, and you can find her running the Ravenel Bridge or exploring the various parks of Charleston.
April Lenker is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an undergraduate degree in nursing and again with a master’s degree in nursing. April spent the first 10 years as a nurse and nurse practitioner working with cancer patients and patients with blood disorders. In January 2021, she stepped into regenerative medicine with Qc Kinetix. She loves seeing patients feel better, move more and have better qualify of life with less pain. April moved to Charleston in 2022 with her family from North Carolina. She loves living in the Holy City and providing treatments for patients that target the root cause of pain.
Yes, age restrictions are clinic dependent. Most clinics require you to be 18 years old to be a QC Kinetix Patient. As long as you meet the local clinic age requirement and our minimum health requirements, you can be considered as a candidate for regenerative medicine treatment.
