Katelyn Buckner is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Katelyn was born and raised in East Tennessee and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014 and Master of Science in Nursing in 2017 at East Tennessee State University. As a registered nurse, she worked at Holston Valley Medical Center for four and a half years, specializing in neurology, orthopedics, and trauma. After working on the orthopedic floor, she quickly realized her passion for orthopedics, which led her to obtain an Orthopedic Nursing Certification. After years of nursing experience at the hospital, she began her career as a nurse practitioner at Integrated Medical Practices working with Chiropractors and focusing on homeopathic treatments with natural solutions and biologics, rather than prescription medication and surgery for orthopedic injuries. This led to her passion of regenerative medicine and functional medicine, which she can implement at QC Kinetix.

Katelyn and her husband just recently had their first child, and they also have a cavapoo dog. They love to spend time with family and friends on the lake in the summer and on the mountains in the winter.
