Non-Surgical Pain Relief for Pembroke Pines’ Active Families and Retirees

QC Kinetix Pembroke Pines serves our diverse community of families, professionals, and active retirees throughout western Broward County. Whether you’re dealing with pain from weekend sports at C.B. Smith Park, years of commuting to Miami, or maintaining your home in Silver Lakes, we offer PRP and stem cell treatments designed to restore function without surgery. Our treatments help residents from Century Village to Pembroke Falls maintain their active South Florida lifestyle.

Our Pembroke Pines clinic treats the specific conditions affecting our community. From golf-related injuries to tennis elbow, we address nagging pain without extended downtime. Many patients – teachers from local schools, healthcare workers at Memorial Hospital, and retirees from our 55+ communities – have returned to their activities after our regenerative treatments.

Pembroke Pines residents value quality of life and staying active with family. Our regenerative medicine approach focuses on your body’s natural ability to restore and repair itself. With minimally invasive treatments completed in under an hour, you can return to work, family obligations, or leisure activities without the months of recovery surgery requires.

Our Advanced Treatment Approach in Pembroke Pines

At our Pembroke Pines clinic, we specialize in regenerative treatments tailored to our community’s needs – from young families to active seniors in our many 55+ communities.

PRP Treatments
Platelet-Rich Plasma treatments use concentrated platelets from your own blood. These treatments support your body’s natural restorative processes and may help improve mobility in affected areas. Many Pembroke Pines residents choose PRP for tennis elbow from the Pembroke Lakes tennis courts or chronic knee pain from years of walking our outdoor malls.

Stem Cell Treatments
Our stem cell treatments utilize cells from your own body to support tissue restoration. These treatments are designed to address the underlying damage, not just mask symptoms. Particularly effective for the arthritis common in South Florida’s humidity, these treatments help many residents avoid or delay surgery.

What to Expect
Most procedures take less than an hour at our convenient location. You can typically drive yourself home and resume light activities immediately. Recovery timelines vary – a mall walker might return to Pembroke Gardens within days, while a golfer may need a few weeks before returning to full swings. Our team provides realistic expectations based on your specific condition and activity level.

He completed his residency in family medicine at East Carolina University/Vidant Medical Center in 2014, and graduated with his Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Davenport University in 2017.

Since his early years, Dr. Fernandez has had a passion for sports medicine and musculoskeletal pathology. Being surrounded by his father – a former National Swimming Team Head Coach; and older brother – a former professional triathlete who struggled to recover from multiple injuries; he knew steroids or anti-inflammatories were not the best choices. He also knew that physical therapy had its limitations.

Throughout his education, he completed multiple CME courses and trainings with various organizations to continue advancing his therapeutic options to help his patients. Over the past 5 years, his practice has been focused on Physical medicine and Rehabilitation, non-surgical regenerative medicine, and clinical research. Regenerative medicine has tremendously impacted the way patients are able to take their lives back and be functional again. Managing acute sports related injuries and chronic pain through regenerative medicine has been a very gratifying experience for him and his patients.

As a testament to his success, Dr. Fernandez has been the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2021, 2022), and On-Time Doctor Award (2022).

Milton Menco is a certified PA (physician assistant) born in Colombia. He has a background in exercise physiology and worked as a medical laboratory researcher before attending the PA program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he graduated with honors. Since graduating, he has worked in interventional pain management, urgent care and orthopedic surgery. He has managed patients as part of a team using a diverse spectrum of treatments including physical therapy, steroid and non-steroid joint injections, and surgery. Milton’s interest in regenerative medicine piqued after noticing that an ample number of patients treated surgically and non-surgically were unsatisfied and frustrated with the outcomes obtained through these traditional therapies. The frustration only grew when many of them could never return to a fair quality of life or to their normal hobbies and levels of physical activity despite proper, traditional medical care. After learning about QC Kinetix and its innovative protocols in treating a great deal of patients with various musculoskeletal and degenerative conditions, he quickly jumped at the opportunity to become part of this team that is at the forefront of regenerative medicine. He has completed a focused training and his goal is to educate and to successfully treat and restore a good quality of life to every patient that comes into our care.
