What is

Regenerative Medicine

QC Kinetix is the leader in regenerative medicine, a cutting-edge approach to healing that can help your body revive and revitalize damaged tissues. Regenerative medicine utilizes your own natural biologics like PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), Plasma, and Stem Cells to work with your body’s own healing process to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support long-term recovery. Whether you’re dealing with joint pain, injuries, or chronic conditions, regenerative medicine offers a non-invasive solution to help you get back to living life on your terms.

What is Regenerative
Medicine Used For?

At QC Kinetix, we use regenerative medicine for non-surgical, drug-free joint preservation. Our orthobiologic therapies treat joint pain caused by a musculoskeletal condition, injury, or degeneration, restoring joint health and function. These natural pain treatments provide effective alternatives to invasive and painful surgeries.

Our patients frequently rely on regenerative medicine treatments as alternatives to joint replacements, most commonly of the knee and the hip. Instead of undergoing additional tissue damage and pain, they prioritize joint preservation over surgical joint replacement to restore function. Treating soreness caused by arthritis or joint injury is the majority of our practice. Rather than endure surgical risks or a lengthy and painful recovery, they seek regenerative therapy, such as concentrated PRP or BMAC, for pain relief and restoration of joint health. Natural orthobiologics power their recovery so they can resume their favorite activities, improving their quality of life.

What is the

Regenerative Therapy
Process Like at QC
Kinetix?

Regenerative medicine is powered by natural biologics derived from the individual patient’s blood components. Orthobiologic therapies isolate specific biological materials, concentrate them, and then reintroduce them at the injured site to stimulate and support your body’s own restorative processes.

1

Plasma Therapy

Most of our patients start the same day as their initial consultation with a plasma treatment to begin the healing process.

2

A2M Treatment

A followup occurs after the initial appointment for Alpha 2 Macro-globulin, a protease inhibitor that helps slow arthritic degradation of a joint.

3

BMAC Treatment

After visit 2, the patients undergo a “BMAC” treatment. Within BMAC are stem cells, PRP, and A2M. Damaged tissue can undergo significant healing.

4

Platelet Rich Plasma

The 4th visit of the plan is PRP. Filled with growth factors and healing properties, the healing within the joint is accelerated.

Benefits of

Regenerative
Medicine

The best way to learn whether you’re a good candidate for regenerative therapy is to schedule your free consultation with QC Kinetix.

You may be a great candidate for regenerative treatments if you:

  • Are experiencing pain
  • Have an unhealed musculoskeletal injury or damage
  • Have a degenerative condition
  • Are not considered a good candidate for surgery (high blood pressure, etc.)
  • Wish to avoid opioids and/or pain medications
  • Cannot take significant time away from work
  • Are anxious to avoid surgery

Regenerative medicine is not for everyone. For instance, it is not a good fit for a patient who is pregnant or is battling cancer.

FAQs About Regenerative Medicine

What is regenerative medicine?

Regenerative medicine is an exciting medical field that harnesses the human body’s natural abilities to repair and restore itself. It includes several alternative therapies for pain that utilize natural biologics to reduce inflammation and help injured tissues heal and repair. Learn More

We have found regenerative treatments to be safe and effective when used locally for musculoskeletal injections (in and around joints and soft tissues). This has also been verified in multiple medical studies. We do not condone the use of any of these regenerative therapies for any systemic disease or administration intravenously.

Our natural pain treatments are injected at or near the site of the pain. Of course, as with any injection, there is always the risk of bleeding, local soreness, minor bruising, and possibly infection. But, in our experience, other than some localized soreness for a day or two, most people don’t experience any significant issues with regenerative medicine treatments.

Regenerative medicine is not appropriate for every cause of pain. Further, there are some conditions in which treatment is contraindicated. These are:

  • Women who are pregnant or nursing
  • Anyone with a compromised immune system
  • Anyone with active cancer
  • Anyone currently going through a chemotherapy or radiation therapy regimen
  • If your pain comes from a total joint replacement
  • If you have kidney failure and require dialysis

If you are unsure whether you would be an ideal candidate for treatment at our clinic, contact us today.

There is no significant downtime after the treatments. You may experience some minor soreness at the site for a day or two, but nothing that would impair your ability to work or move.

You may experience positive results from regenerative treatments within just a few days or weeks. However, the results of the regenerative medicine protocol continue to build over time and are typically not fully realized for 6 to 9 months.
