Treatment Methods

Class IV Laser

Instant Pain Relief

Instant pain relief. Reduced inflammation. Accelerated recovery. These are just some of the benefits of laser therapy. The non-invasive process utilizes a photochemical response to stimulate tissue repair and regeneration. Whether someone is dealing with bursitis or a musculoskeletal injury, laser therapy can soothe the pain of underlying problems and symptoms.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Decreases Inflammation and Starts Regeneration

Enhance repair and recovery with PRP. The process, also known as platelet-rich plasma, uses critical liquid components in the bloodstream. Plasma is responsible for circulating red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets throughout the body, which stimulate muscle growth and repair. This increasingly popular method has already attracted notable clients, including Tiger Woods and Rafael Nadal.

PRP can restore damaged ligaments, tendons, and joints. The process requires a specialist to draw and separate the components from a patient’s blood. Before reinjecting the PRP into the afflicted site, the specialist will make sure the concentration of platelets is at the optimal levels.

The process ordinarily takes 30 minutes, depending on the condition being addressed. Once the platelets are in the body, they release growth factors, which enable repair and renewal of tissues. The PRP makes it possible for the body to heal faster than is otherwise possible with traditional methods. It is why QC Kinetix uses PRP to treat numerous conditions, from injured soft tissue to tendinitis.

Regenerative Cell Therapy

Initiates Regeneration

Jumpstart the recovery process with regenerative cell therapy. Our cutting-edge procedure enables comprehensive restoration of tissue, ligament, and joint damage around the body. It’s why—when people seek out regenerative medicine in Charlotte, NC—so many choose QC Kinetix.

Regenerative cell therapy uses amniotic membrane tissue, which contains numerous essential compounds for recovery. That includes everything from natural hyaluronic acid to cytokines. This combination offers a full-scale treatment that enhances muscle regeneration, improves joint lubrication, and reinforces structural support.

The cells in regenerative cell therapy can help to heal a wide range of issues, including chronic knee pain and partially torn rotator cuffs. Thanks to improved technology and techniques, the approach is helping more people return to pain-free lives. Plus, the minimally invasive procedure has a fraction of the side effects that come with traditional methods.

Stem Cell Therapy / BMAC

Aids in Tissue Repair

Actively heal the body with regenerative medicine. Stem cell therapy uses adult stem cells in the patient’s body to naturally aid in repair and recovery. Similar to PRP and A2M, the approach can treat musculoskeletal conditions or trauma more efficiently than ordinary methods.

Adult stem cells come from several sources, such as bone marrow, fat, and umbilical cord tissue. QC Kinetix primarily uses Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC). After aspirating a patient’s bone marrow, specialists will concentrate it in a centrifuge for an enhancing its healing potential.

Stem cell therapy takes 45 to 60 minutes to complete. It requires patients to undergo an extraction process, followed by a local injection to the affected area, which then makes the recovery process possible. BMAC is significantly better than conservative therapies, such as rest and medication, while helping to potentially avoid the need for surgery.

Anyone with osteoarthritis, partial ACL tears, tendonitis, or related injuries should consider stem cell therapy. The low-risk treatment usually results in some improvement within two months, but most patients don’t realize the full benefit of the treatment for up to 6 months.

Degradation of Cartilage

A2M is yet another orthobiologic therapy for arthritis and soft tissue injury. The treatment has the potential to reduce pain, improve joint function, and mitigate inflammation. A2M, which stands for alpha-2-macroglobulin, is a highly concentrated protein obtained from a patient’s own plasma that offers its relief without the common side effects of medications. QC Kinetix has been a pioneer in the use of this protein to revolutionize arthritic treatments.

Additional Tools to Aid in Treatment

Aids in Proper Diagnosis & Procedural Precision

Get a clear picture with ultrasound technology. This technology enables specialists to see and diagnose conditions of soft tissue, tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints. It uses systems similar to sonar and radar to let medical professionals see inside the body.

A sonographer applies a lubricating jelly to a patient’s skin before administrating the ultrasound transducer. The ultrasound transmits sounds, which translate to an internal map of the damaged or diseased site. These results allow specialists at our regenerative medicine clinic to create a personalized treatment plan for each patient and more accurately guide our therapeutic injections.

X-Ray copy

Digital X-Ray*

Aids in Comprehensive Assessment and Protocol Planning

Digital x-rays have modernized the medical profession’s approach to diagnosis and evaluation. Similar to digital photography, the process involves specialized image sensors to capture the condition of damaged bones and joints instantly. Furthermore, our equipment minimizes the radiation that patients experience compared to traditional x-rays.

A digital x-ray provides a clear blueprint for structural damage within the body. The state-of-the-art equipment allows specialists to diagnose and treat problems that are invisible to the naked eye. The easy to share and store high-resolution pictures means receiving treatment is now faster and more efficient than ever.
