Frequently Asked Questions

Does your local pain management clinic have age restrictions?

Yes, you must be 18 years of age. As long as you are 18 years of age and meet health requirements you can be considered a candidate for treatment with our Charleston pain specialists.

Any reason why I may not be a candidate for treatment at your Charleston pain clinic?

Yes. Women who are pregnant or nursing; or anyone with a compromised immune system would not be a candidate.

What if I have been treated by a joint pain specialist before?

If you’ve already had stem cell therapy or PRP therapy elsewhere, you can still be a candidate for further treatment if your symptoms persist. Book an appointment today to speak with our regenerative medicine specialists to discuss further treatment and get your life back today!

Does QC Kinetix provide Stem Cell Therapy and PRP Therapy for other issues?

We currently only treat patients suffering from pain, discomfort, or lack of mobility from various conditions. Book an appointment today to see how our Charleston pain center can jump start your healing process.

How much will my pain treatment cost?

Before we can quote a price, you’ll want to come in for a FREE consultation. Until we know the area(s) to be treated and the number of treatments necessary, it’s difficult to provide an exact quote. We do offer affordable payment plans with approved credit and your consultation is FREE.

Where do stem cells come from?

While stem cells can be found in your own body, most of our patients choose the higher concentration source of amniotic stem cells, giving QC Kinetix patients the best outcomes. The derivation process is strictly regulated by the FDA assuring your utmost safety. We do not use fetal stem cells and we know and agree that there are many ethical and moral issues around the use of fetal stem cells.

Are there risks associated with donor stem cells?

While there are some very limited risks that you and your doctor will discuss, stem cells do not have a “blood type” so they have universal usage without the fear of rejection. Come in for a FREE consultation to learn more.

What do religious organizations say about Stem Cell Therapy?

Most religious organizations do not support the use of fetal stem cells for research or procedures, and neither does our local pain management clinic. The Catholic Church has actually endorsed the use of stem cell therapy.
